​She is a member of the American Psychological Association and has been part of the Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women Psychologists and Who’s Who Among American Students Lists. During her more than 18 years in the field, she has worked with several different patient populations including psychiatric patients, those with chronic medical conditions, sexual abuse victims, severely emotionally disturbed children, trauma victims, and people who are interested in emotional and physical well-being.

She has worked and enjoys working with people from multiple cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds. She has conducted workshops   on Sexuality   and   Adolescence, 
Emotional Intelligence, Self-Esteem, Chronic Pain and Stress Management. She has been a guest on renowned television shows like Despierta America, Trendiando and Tu Desayuno Alegre to share her knowledge about topics like anxiety, depression and relationships.

She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET). EMDR and NET are powerful interventions that can rapidly assess and alleviate the consequences of stressors that are creating barriers to health and success. By using Cognitive-Behavioral techniques in combination with these interventions it is possible to make rapid, positive, healthy changes in your life.


Dr. Collazo graduated at the top of her class from Carlos Albizu 
University, San Juan, P.R. with a degree in Clinical Psychology.
